Project Share : Altered Box

Hey guys,

I have been so behind in updating my blog, its not even funny.Life has been a bit hectic for the past few weeks, but I am proud to say that I have still managed to finish some of my pending projects.Yay for me! :-)

Today I wanted to share an altered box I made as a design team inspiration for Crafter's Corner challenge 7 .Oh yeah,I forgot to mention, I am now a Design team member for Crafter's corner and am truly honoured to be selected.Yay again!

The product of the month is Mod Podge,so we all had to use it and then make a projects based on the Bingo challenge setup by the very talented Hussena.
I decided to alter a box and my picks were Pattern paper,Flowers and Stamping. Here, take a look.

I used mod-Podge to cover the whole box with a pretty paper napkin that I had.I then sealed the whole box again with Mod-Podge and before it dried, sprinkled some very find glitter on it.Love the effect. For stamping I used Gold Archival ink to stamp some script and a butterfly on to the whole box.Hardly visible in the pic,but it's there. The large butterfly was embossed using gold embossing powder and so is the sentimen. The Cherub/Angel is a Christmas ornament that I found here.Rest is all flowers from various sources.I also have a small chipboard key painted in Gold between the flowers.I hung a bird charm on it.Both the charms are from Crafter's corner.I used some trims from my stash.

Here are some more pics

Hope you like this project.Do go on to Crafters corner blog and participate in this month's challenge. It will be fun,I promise.

Cheers
Pallavi
